I personally visit new homeowners or home renters and provide them with local information and business resources I know that newcomers need when they move. I take the time to sit with each newcomer and go over local information and give them the tips I have learned to make the transition easier and to introduce them to different area services they might not find right away.
I also try to find out what they need and serve as source to answer any and all questions they may have during and after my visit. As an Army wife, this is something I have done my whole life - take care of new people and pass on information. We have a "Sponsor" program where we are assigned someone to take care of us when we move. I have been a sponsor many times!
Businesses join me in the process by funding the welcomes and offering gift certificates, gifts and discounts to newcomers as their way of saying "Welcome". The best part for the newcomer is that these businesses are all reputable and either I personally use their services or my friends or other sponsors have referred them to me. I do not randomly select businesses, so the newcomer can feel confident using these services and products - one less thing to worry about when moving.
Newcomers are always happy after a visit as they receive lots of valuable information and area insight, a new friend and many free gifts. This is truly an old-fashioned welcome from someone who understands the challenges of moving and how to help newcomers get a head start in finding many of the resources and services needed to get settled.
Because I like to connect newcomers to each other and help them make new friends, newcomers also enjoy membership in our Newcomers Club. Based on newcomer feedback, we plan events and activities so everyone has the chance to meet others who are also new to the area. They also have the option to receive monthly emails on area events and activities so they know what's going on and don't miss anything fun!

Our Mission
As a recent newcomer to the area and Army wife of 23 years, I have moved 17 times and consider myself a “professional” newcomer. We have lived all over the U.S., Europe and even Kuwait and being here combines the best of all our favorite places. We love the area and have chosen to make this our home. I want to pass on my positive experiences and share my excitement about this community with everyone I meet. I decided the perfect way to do that was to offer a newcomer relocation service based on my own experiences and needs as a newcomer.
